WMCS was formed in 1935 and the charity has been running for 87 years! After a considerable time away from our beloved Connaught Theatre, following the pandemic, WMCS is so very excited and grateful to be back treading the boards and doing what we love most. However, this post-pandemic environment does not come without significant hurdles to overcome; we are still in a time of real uncertainty for the theatre industry.
The funds from this fabulous showcase will go towards securing the continuation and future of this talented company, so that we can carry on entertaining local audiences with our passion for live theatre!
